NEW: Ex Weeknd Producer To Release E.P. on Jacque Greene Label

Earlier on this year I read an article via VICE with Jeremy Rose, the man who claims to have conceptualised and propelled the whole Weeknd project. Abel Tesfaye allegedly failed to recognise the work that Rose had done on ‘House of Ballons’, the 2011 highly acclaimed mixtape, which some say is responsible for a rebirth of a darker, more avant-garde form of RnB perfect for this generation.

That mixtape was one of my favourite of last year and the beats on it had a whole lot to do with that, so news of a new E.P. on none other than Canadian producing maestro Jacque Greene’s label was welcomed with open arms. Jeremy Rose under the guise of ‘Zodiak’ teams up with Jesse Boykins III on the lead track ‘Come’ and it’s very good! Have a listen below.

The full E.P. is expected to drop late Sept.
